w700i dead
help, my w700 is dead after flashing using xs++ and far manager. the biggest problem is i forgot to back up mu gdfs. it will not power on again. _________________ bALz™

Please post a log (I would still back up your GDFS anyway) Do you have the correct rest file for the FW you flashed into the phone? (you can use mkrest2.exe in the far manager/plugins/jdflasher/rest dir (drag and drop your FW file onto the exe to make the rest file)). _________________

Youve tried flashing a REST file to it, then a fake main.

Try this main:

it should be enough to make the phone come back to life. Use XS++ to flash it

??? Why would you flash this into w700?

	Code:
	01:07:40\| Flashing f:\flash\how to customize cid49\ssw\k750w800_r2e_dcu.49r.ssw

Can you still flash main/FS?

(using XS++)
1. BACKUP your phones GDFS.
2. Flash "w700" FS firmware file (on its own)
3. Upload the Customization pack (on its own)
4. Flash "W700" Main firmware file (on its own.... and last)

If flashing the phone in this order does not work then you may have damaged the phone when you flashed the file above =(

bro, i got a good news and a bad news after flashing the main. good news is that the phone turned on. the SE logo appears but the bad news is that it hangs up. it says "please wait".... its like forever. been waiting it for about 5 hours but it hasnt move a bit. please tell me what to do and what went wrong? i use xs++ for flashing the phone.[/code] _________________ bALz™

There might be a patch you could try "disable otp/gdfs startup check", but I'm not sure it will work =(

I would personally take it to service or a repair shop that uses SETool2 (full version).

PS (silly question but before you try the patch or take it to a repair shop): did you upload a cust pack after you flashed the FS?

Some of the security units must of been damaged when flashing the k750 file, a good service shop should be able to fix it no problem fairly cheap, but there's no free software to fix it =( But I would still take it to a service shop =) _________________
